Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed 33 people and injured many more in one of the most significant escalations of violence since the US-backed ceasefire took effect last month. The casualties included five women and seven children, killed in strikes targeting displaced people’s tents in Khan Younis and two attacks in Gaza City. Palestinians in Gaza stated that the “war never stopped,” with over 300 deaths reported by the Health Ministry since the ceasefire began.
