A Palestinian couple in the Gaza Strip, Samar and Abdulrahman, are struggling to survive as they await the imminent birth of their baby in a severely flooded tent. Torrents of rain ruined their few possessions and all the preparations they had made for their newborn daughter in the Deir el-Balah displacement camp. The family is now pleading for basic humanitarian aid and dignified shelter to protect their three young children and the incoming baby.
